Jennifer Brinkman

Jennifer Brinkman has operated Brinkman Photography since 1990. After graduating from Illinois State University Jennifer moved to Chicago, Illinois, where she worked for various commercial photographers. In the last eight years, her love of people has been the focus of her work, with an emphasis on children and animals as subjects. She also teaches at PNCA (Pacific Northwest College of Art) and her diverse portfolio has inspired beginners to create the world in fresh ways through the photographerís lens. Jennifer is actively involved in American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP). She has participated in several events the group has coordinated. In 2001, Jennifer was responsible for organizing, curating, and promoting an ASMP event that showcased memberís works. Currently, she is serving as treasurer for the Oregon Chapter of ASMP. She teaches the core classes in Ditigal Photography option (DP150, 151 and 152) and other collaborative Integrated Media courses including IM178: Sound Frame Light.

Brad Dolbeer

Brad teaches the RB225: Broadcast Programming class to second year Radio Broadcasting students.

Linda Kliewer

Linda Kliewer teaches critical first year video production classes, Fundamentals of Digital Video Acquisition and Editing Digital Video. She team teaches second year Advanced Digital Acquisition and Editing. She is an award-winning documentary filmmaker who has made film/video and still images for over 25 years. Linda is an active video and installation artist whose work is archived in the Visual Chronicle of Portland, and has been screened at the Sundance Film Festival (Audience Award Winner) and at the Portland Documentary and Experimental Film Festival. Her work, both still and video, has been published and exhibited nationally and internationally (Chicago, New York, Paris and Belgrade, Serbia). Linda also teaches video and video installation at the Pacific Northwest College of Art in the Intermedia Department. She holds a BFA from the University of Virginia in Studio Art.

Jon Larson

Jon moved his design and photography business, LarsonImages to Portland from Santa Barbara, California three years ago. He's been a lecturer at Brooks Institute of Photography. Jon's expertise at LarsonImages includes over a decade of experience in graphics, advertising, photography, multimedia and web design. He holds a BS in Applied Art and Design from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. This year, Jon teaches the first year Graphic Design sequence, GD150, 151 and 152; IM180: Digital Acquistion and Editing and GD249: Graphic Design Practicum.

David Maier

David is the owner/principle of Third Door, an interactive web development company whose major client is Warner Brothers Records. Other clients include Capital Records, Nike, Nemo Design and Reprise Records. Over the past 15 years, David has taught 3D modeling and animation, Flash, Interactive Design and Web Design courses for MHCC. David earned a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Arizona and worked as an art director for Graphic Media and Eagle River Interactive and as a creative director for Waggoner Edstrom before starting his own company 12 years ago. In the new Integrated Media program, he'll be teaching the second-year course, IM282: Integrated Media Focus: Motion course which is offered as an elective in the fifth term. David currently teaches the second year web design sequence, GD240, GD241 and GD242.

Steve Pringle

Steve teaches a variety of Broadcasting classes including RB150 this Fall. Currently at KINK, Steve started at KUFO, moved to KGON and KNRK, skipped over to KUPL and did mornings and overnights for six years at KKJZ. He hosts a Blues show (since 1994) at KMHD (89.1 f.m.) called The Friday Freeway Blues and has taught for Mt. Hood Community Collegeís Radio Program for four years.

Matt Triplett

Matt is teaching the second level courses, IM191: Web Design II for first year students in their third term. Currently founder and creative director for Sparkplug, Matt's diverse background gives him a unique perspective on the convergence of psychology, technology and design. Prior experience includes positions at Wieden+Kennedy and Addis, where he specialized in technology and web development. At Microsoft and the University of Oregon he focused on usability research and teaching. He has a B.A. from The Evergreen State College where he studied psychology and anthropology. He also holds a Teaching Credential from Saint Mary's College of California.

Doug Zanger

Doug was most recently the Creative Director for Entercom Portland, one of the largest radio broadcasting companies in the United States. He's an award-winning writer and ad-man and teaches some second-year Broadcasting courses.
