Students interested in the Integrated Media (IM) program can register for Fall 2013 classes as soon as the open registration period begins on May 22, 2013. New students and those returning after four terms or more will need to submit an MHCC Student Admission Form, available online by clicking here: MHCC.edu (click on "General Admission Application" at the very bottom of that page).
1. Have a current student record on file (see above)
2. Meet the minimum proficiencies in reading, writing and mathematics which can be satisfied by placement into MTH60, WR115 and RD115 on the MHCC College Placement Test (CPT) or by completing MTH20, WR90 and RD90 (or equivalent transfer courses demonstrated through official transcripts on file at MHCC).
For info about the College Placement Test, call 503-491-7678. There is no charge. The test is administered by computer, takes about an hour, and you'll know your results immediately.
3. Select one these: Broadcasting, Graphic Design, Photography or Video, then register for ONE course (choose one of two sections which meet at slightly different times on Tuesday/Thursday).
Broadcasting students will register for RB150R: (14 credits: IM178, IM179, RB150, J216)
Graphic Design students will register for GD150R: (14 credits: IM178, IM179, GD150)

Video students will register for TV150R: (14 credits: IM178, IM179, TV150)
That's it! One course will automatically register you into ALL required Fall term classes.
New students must have the consent of their IM Program Advisor and meet the proficiencies of the program classes to be qualified for Winter Integrated Media courses. At that time, the student's major will be changed to Integrated Media.
